There haven’t been many with the influence that Jim Harbaugh has that’ve extended a hand towards Colin Kaepernick.
On Saturday, the former 49ers coach allowed Kaepernick to throw for NFL scouts at halftime of Michigan‘s spring game. Harbaugh even had him serve as an honorary captain for the game.
Coach Harbaugh, he’s always been phenomenal for me,” Kaepernick explained. “From the time we met at the Combine, my pro day, to him drafting me and choosing to start me
From there our relationship has continued to grow and develop. So, phenomenal person. Phenomenal man. A lot of love for [coach Harbaugh].”
Fans loved what they saw as well. “I really hope he gets a shot to play QB in the NFL,” said one user.
“Harbaugh a Real One,” replied another.
Kaepernick told the on-field reporter that he would be willing to do a sit-down interview and workout with an NFL team if they were willing to have him.
Perhaps with Jim Harbaugh’s help, he might land an opportunity.
