The Green Bay Packers made two selections in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft tonight, but neither was an offensive weapon for Aaron Rodgers.

Instead, the Packers took a pair of Georgia defenders: linebacker Quay Walker and defensive tackle Devonte Wyatt.

If Green Bay is going to select a wide receiver, which they absolutely need to do, it will have to be tomorrow night, at the earliest.

Any Packers fans who are disappointed that they didn’t target a wideout tonight can take consolation in the fact that

the receiver Rodgers preferred the most went No. 12 overall, well before Green Bay was slated to pick.

If the Pack wanted to get Alabama’s Jameson Williams, who Rodgers said was the most NFL-ready wideout in the draft,
