You would think that New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick would be beyond reproach given his accomplishments with the team.
But it appears Belichick may have worn out his welcome with at least one fan after last night.
This morning on a New England sports radio station, a caller dubbed “Adam in Lowell” had a very interesting topic he wanted to discuss.
The call screener listed his reason for calling as “Belichick has to go.”
We don’t have audio of the call that ensued so it’s hard to tell if it was meant as a joke or not
But we can probably guess that it had something to do with the Patriots taking Chattanooga guard Cole Strange 29th overall in Round 1.
Surprisingly, there are a bunch of people in Albert Breer’s comments section who seem to agree with Adam’s sentiment.
Though whether or not those people are being honest or just trolling is also hard to tell:
This has always been my gripe with the patriots and to an extent the dolphins. I totally understand the “go get your player” philosophy
but the lack of awareness that this person probably won’t go until round 3 is brutal and for me really puts into question their eye for talent,” one fan replied.
“Yeah he does,” another fan replied, agreeing with “Adam in Lowell.”
“Adam in Lowell is 100% correct,” wrote a third. “Adam must be a Jets fan,” a fourth fan suggested.
